My advocacy plan that I have
previously laid out has me feeling a near spectrum of emotions ranging from
excitement and anticipation that it may be able to be implemented or at least
looked over in detail, to apprehensive and a bit fearful that my plan may have
had too many flaws or inaccessible funds to put into action. I would hope for
it to be the former, as that would not only be a huge weight off of my
shoulders for worrying incessantly, but it would also be a great help to the
children who need it; no matter how long it would take for the ultimate goal of
having it become solidified and integrated into the children’s day, it would
please me as well for it to at least be field-tested. In the event that my
plans fall though in that aspect, I am sure that it would be for good reason
and I believe that if another plan was chosen over mine that the other would’ve
been more beneficial to the children.

Hi Alexandra it was nice to read your blog and the information posted.I really liked your presentation last Saturday and I am pretty sure that you are going to reach your long term goal. You are going to educate parents in Africa to teach them about this spectrum.
ReplyDeleteGood luck and I hope see you on the graduation ceremony!!!
It seems like it is really difficult to find an effective strategy to bring the wealth of knowledge that you have about children with autism to a place where you can mobilize your idea. I hope that you will be able to make presentations to others in the future as well as for this class assignment.
